Donald W. Peterson, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 in his daughter's home.
Originally from Moline, IL, he served in the U.S. Air Force, hired on with John Deere's Art Department, Moline, and later became a newspaper advertising rep for the Moline Dispatch. He moved to Winter Park, FL, in 1965, to work for the Orlando Sentinel. He was a longtime bowler until 86 years old. He was a loyal member of the American Legion Post No. 55, Clermont, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; parents, Bill and Ruth; and brother, Thomas. He is survived and loved by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Salvi; granddaughters, Sarah and Emily Salvi.
