Donald Wilson Launius, 79, of Clermont, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at South Lake Hospital.  Donald was born on February 23, 1933 in Cobden, Illinois, the son of George W. and Cordelia (nee Davis) Launius.  He worked as a machine operator and retired from Chrysler Automotive.  He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Chapel Baptist Church, Clermont.



Donald is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Alice; children, Donald (Pamela) Wayne Launius of Clermont; Patricia (Terry) Ann Bell of Clermont and Steven (Brandy Marie) Launius of Davenport, FL; sister, Eva Marie Launius of Lafayette, GA; twin brother, George (Liz) Nelson Launius of Murphysboro, IL; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.



Funeral Services for Donald will be held at 11AM Friday, July 27, 2012 at Chapel Baptist Church, Clermont.  Pastor Chris Luppino officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10AM until service time at the church.
