Rev. Donald J Knight, 79 Donald J. Knight, age 79, Clermont passed away on February 3, 2015 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando. He was born December 28, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Alfred and Fannie Knight. After leaving the US Air Force in 1962 he was later called to the ministry and attended Clear Creek Baptist School. After graduating school he pastored numerous churches from Kentucky, to Indiana and Florida. After full time ministry he took a position at the First Baptist Church of Montverde until the time of his passing. Donald is survived by his wife Shirley Knight; sons Mike Knight, Don Knight Jr. & Carl McQuaig; daughters Connie Sundeen & Jeaniene Tyson; brother Bruce Knight; sisters Barbara Wenner, Mary Alice Michaels & Pamela Lowe; 10 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his first wife Betty and granddaughter Sherri.



The funeral service will be held on Sunday February 8th at First Baptist Church of Montverde, Florida at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service time. Reverend Jonathan Winningham, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at 11:30 AM at the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, Florida.
