Donald F. Devine, 80, of Clermont, FL and former resident of Scituate, MA passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020.  In love with and loved by his wife of 55 years, Ruthie (nee Tenney); loved by his daughter, Susan Devine (Greg McKeever) of Scituate, MA; son, Wayne Devine of Boston, MA; granddaughters, Eva and Maggie McKeever; brother to Maureen (John) Sluk of Morristown, NJ, Susan Sampson of Plymouth, MA and best friend and brother Rance Gillespie of Squantum, MA.  Son of the late Francis and Mary Devine of Squantum, MA.  Donald is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors of Kings Ridge, Clermont, FL.

Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and the Far East with the 1st MOB.  He graduated from Don Boscoe High School, Boston, MA.  Don retired from Lucent Technologies, previously AT & T and prior to that New England Telephone Company.

Don was a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind and raised 11 puppies (who became service dogs).  He also rode his motorcycle with the Patriot Guard, honoring our Veterans and escorting them to their final resting places.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Florida National Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered.  People are invited to congregate at Becker Funeral Home between 9:45 and 10AM, then we will go in procession to the cemetery.  Masks are required at Florida National Cemetery.
