Obituary

Diego Luis Ocasio-Aponte, 81, of Clermont, FL passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020.  Diego was born on July 5, 1938 in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, son of Rodrigo and Leonor Ocasio.  Diego was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.  After the military he had a long career as a forklift driver, before retirement.  Diego loved baseball and was a huge Mets fan.  He also was an avid boxing fan, enjoyed his Western movies and loved to read.
Diego is survived by his loving sons, Eric (Luz) Ocasio of Clermont and Benjamin (Leine) Ocasio of Pensacola, FL and grandchildren, Benjamin, Robin, Margaret, Ben, Jr., Heather, Christopher, Amanda and Christian.  Diego wife, Milagros, preceded him in death in 1994.
