Diane Shirley Devier, 76, of Clermont, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

She moved to Clermont, Florida in 1983 where she lived a fulfilling life as a business owner, wife and mother. Diane was known around Groveland as the "Discount Grocery lady" where she co-owned and operated the business with her former husband for several years.

Later in life, she became a school bus driver for Lake County Schools where she retired.

Diane was known for being very independent and hard working. She enjoyed hopping on her tractor and mowing the property, tinkering with things until she could make them work, gardening in the yard, relaxing at the pool and spending time with her friends and family.

She was known and loved by many. She was a loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. These words of wisdom I believe she would speak.

Don't grieve for me now, for now I'm free. I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I to will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief-

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

She is survived by her brothers David McCrabb of Canada,B.C. and Jim McCrabb of Canada, B.C,

Her daughters, Michelle (Skipper) Fender, Paula (George) Bagony, Corinna (Johnathon) Peterlin

5 grandchildren: Henry W. Fender III, Veronica Prevost, Kaylee Misos, Sydney Bagony and Hannah Dowdy.

6 great-grandchildren: Sophia Misos, Landyn Misos, Shyro Prevost, Ulrik Prevost, Carmella Fender, Abby Fender.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank McCrabb and Bell Johnson of Surrey, Canada

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2pm-5pm at Becker's Funeral Home located at 806 West Minneola Avenue, Clermont, Florida 34712

She will be cremated and laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont, Florida at a later date.
