Desmond Ramnarine of Groveland, Florida lost his long fight with cancer, in the early morning hours of November 13, 2018 he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 78.

Born in Bloomfield, Guyana as the first son of James and Ammah Ramnarain. Desmond is survived by his wife Devi, son Eon (wife Vidya), two daughters; Rose and Ravina (husband Venk), brothers; Neville, Nelson, and Rohan, and sisters; Patsy and Angela. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Winston. He lived a long and exciting life, working as an electrician in London, starting his married life in Canada, to fixing up homes in Chicago, and then retirement in Florida. He is known to be the life of the party with his easy approachable, caring and upbringing nature.

Dad, you will be missed dearly. Our yearly Father's Day lunch. Fixing around Mom's home and listening to mom fuss at us. I love you. -Rose
