Denton A Tussing, 91, of Clermont Florida, passed away September 7,2026 with his son Rick by his side, after several months of illness. He was born 6/28/35 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Denton E Tussing, and Alice Jankowski Tussing. He has 2 sisters, Judy Carroll, and Fay Tellam, and brother Arlan Tussing.

Denton married Bonnie L Schuldt, June 9, 1956. They have 2 sons, Rick B Tussing, [Cathy], Denton Jeff Tussing, and daughter Beckie L Tussing- Stone.He has 2 granddaughters, Amber Mossing,[Luke], and great grandchildren, Max and Alex, and Ashley Kessler,[Nick], and great grandchildren, Ethan, Zaiden, and Shay.
Denton and Bonnie were married 59 years until her death in 2015.

He remarried Dora Fentress, she passed away a few years later.

He is survived by current wife, Barbara Broley Tussing, whom he met in church that they currently are members, and attended regularly.

As a young man, he was an accomplished baseball player with minor leagues, loved to fish and hunt.
Denton ran a produce business for 40 years, along with all 3 children. Moved to Florida in 1995. He was a huge Detroit Lions fan, as well as the Tigers. He kept up with every season and game.
He loved to be outdoors, fishing, boating, and had a passion for plants, flowers, and especially tomatoes. He loved to give his friends and family parts of his crop.
Denton was also an avid golfer, in his younger years.He also loved antiques, and collected for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10/16, from 2-4 pm, at First Baptist of Clermont, where he was a member. He also helped keep their grounds there, upkeeping the flower beds.
