Dennis Allen York, age 54, Mascotte, passed away December 20, 2014 at the Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville. He was born July 24, 1960 in Jamestown, TN son of Winona Mangold & Alvin York and was a local resident since 1969. His father & sister Janice Bates preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother Winona York of Lake Park, GA; companion Teresa House; children Dennis York, Jr., Dustin York, Daniel House, Eric Gibson, Jasmine York & Charles York; 7 grandchildren; siblings Melvin (Deloris) Smith, Amory, MS; Alvin (Denise) York & Jackie (Elton) Edmondson all of Groveland; Stella Catrette, Lake Park; Sandra (Ernest) York, Cutoff, LA & Debbie (Preston) York, IA; several nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
