On Sunday January 31, 2021, Dendon "Dink" Oliver, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at age 60.

Dink was born on April 7, 1960 in Ringgold, Georgia to JB and Marjorie Oliver. Dink was an accomplished certified welder. Dink settled down in Mascotte, Florida were he married and raised two children, a daughter Amanda Strand and a son Justin Oliver.

Dink remarried to Brenda Oliver when his children were young. They remained together through his last day.

Dink had a passion for spending time outside in his garden, where he grew many fruits and vegetables. He used all of the things he grew for his other passions, like smoking meats, grilling and canning jams and jellies, salsa and a variety of vegetables. He was known for his great cooking and his "special" meat sauce. Dink loved making sure everyone had a full plate and a full belly of his good cooking.

Dink was preceded in death by his father, JB, and his mother, Marjorie. Brother's Ricky, Jake, and Johnny. Sister's Mary, Louise, and Theresa. He is survived by his Wife Brenda, two children Amanda (Curtis) Strand and Justin Oliver. Grandchildren Shyann, Shaddin, Cj and Lyla. His Brother James (Alma) and Sister's Rena (Ted), Sheila (Larry), Betty (Dave), Vicky (Ed), and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A reception will be held at his son Justin Oliver's house in Montverde, Florida on Friday February 5, 2021 at 2pm. All are welcome to remember Dink.
