Deirdre Chapple Mullican, 36, Senior Underwriter for Hartford Life Insurance, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 10th 2014. A Mass of Catholic Burial is planned 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th Street, Clermont with Very Reverend Robert E. Webster as Celebrant. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday on 5-8 PM. Entombment will take place following the mass in Oak Hill Cemetery. Dee was born March 2nd, 1978 at New York Hospital, New York to Sharon A. Fenlon and John H. Fenlon. A graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School and University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she was an avid soccer and tennis player. Dee participated in numerous National Soccer Tournaments and was captain of her high school team. Additionally she played club soccer in college and enjoyed adult league soccer in Orlando. She also had great musical talent as a flautist and was a member of her high school band and the University's orchestra. A member of Chi Omega Sorority, Dee led fundraising efforts for her local chapter to support the Charlotte community. Dee moved to Orlando, Florida in 2007 where she met the love of her life James Patrick Mullican. They married May 17th, 2008 at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Charlotte, North Carolina. An amazing and adoring mother, Dee leaves behind two beautiful girls Olivia Courtney Mullican (3) and Molly Abigail Mullican (21 months) in the care of her beloved husband, James Patrick Mullican. Her family includes mother Sharon A. Fenlon, father John H. Fenlon, brother Matthew T. Fenlon and his spouse Amy J. Fenlon and their children Ryan T. Fenlon and Chloe R. Fenlon of Charlotte. Deirdre also leaves behind her extended family, mother-in-law, Patricia D Mullican of Winter Garden, Florida, father-in-law, James Blackston Mullican deceased, brother-in-law Ryan Mullican and his spouse Jill Mullican , son Ben Mullican of Denver, Colorado, and brother-in-law, Andy Douglas of Nashville, Tennessee.
