Deborah "Debbie" Ann Purvis, 58, of Mascotte, FL passed away at home Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Debbie was born on October 6, 1955 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Norman and Helen Hawkins. She resided in South Lake County for the past 39 years and was an Administration Coordinator at Tarmac. She was a Christian.

Debbie is survived by her loving children, Jason Purvis of Clermont, FL, Jerad Purvis of Inverness, FL and Jenna Purvis of Clermont; father, Norman Hawkins of Mascotte; siblings, Rhonda (John) Carnicom of TN, Kenny Hawkins and Larry Hawkins both of Jacksonville, FL and Tammy Hawkins of Mascotte and 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Hawkins and brother, Norman Hawkins, Jr.



A Celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Becker Funeral Home. Pastor Darrell Sheeley of Bay Lake Baptist Church will officiate. The family requests that everyone wear an item of blue clothing as that was Debbie's favorite color.
