Dean Kermit Sesker, son of Bayard and Lulabelle (Scott) Sesker, was born on January 27, 1929 in Maxwell, Iowa.
He attended the Maxwell Consolidated School and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served on active duty from 1947 to 1950 and continued in the Army Reserve for an additional three years. He was employed at the Solar Aircraft Co. in
Des Moines prior to starting his farming operation south of Maxwell, Iowa. He moved his family and farm operation
from Maxwell to Blairsburg, Iowa and after his family matured, relocated his operation to Dunkerton, Iowa. He returned to production employment with an auto parts manufacturer in Iowa City, Iowa and from there accepted a job with Disney Corporation and worked in the Magic Kingdom where he retired after eleven years.
Dean was married to Shirley (Cummings) Sesker of Maxwell, Iowa. He is survived by three children, Michael Dean (wife Lynn) of Burleson, Texas; Janine Ann (Sesker) Moore of Webster City, Iowa; and David Allan Sesker of Fort Dodge, Iowa
and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Shirley (Max) Minear of Orange City, Florida and three brothers, Wayne (Sharon) of Forest City, Iowa; Paul (Mary Jane) Sesker of Tipton, Iowa and Bruce (Judy) of Maxwell, Iowa. He was preceded in death of a brother, Donald Sesker and a sister Karen (Dean) Harrison.

Dean enjoyed fishing on the local lakes. The family wishes to acknowledge his long-time friend and co-worker, Stanley Hayes as a good caretaker of Dean who was always there for him.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in December & inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. FL.
