DAVID WILLIAM VASILE 1956-2023

On September 14, 2023 at approximately 6pm, DAVID WILLIAM VASILE, at the age of 67, slipped from the arms of his loving family and into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Yeshua Hamashiach.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Marion & Bill Vasile on February 26, 1956, his family relocated to Palm Beach County in May of that same year where he spent the next 63 years of his life. He met and married the love of his life Victoria (Vicki) Stone on September 24, 1976.

Over the next forty-three years, David excelled in the building trades: master carpenter, expert remodeler a Palm Beach County Certified Drywall Contractor (Finishing Touch Drywall Systems, Inc.), a FL Certified Residential Contractor and Home Inspector (DW Vasile Construction).

He was a lover of the sea, an avid fisherman. He enjoyed people and helping others. David loved his church, was a former member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach where he volunteered his carpentry skills at the outreach center of Samaritan Gardens. He loved studying God's Word and was active at Florida Gardens Baptist Church in Lake Worth, FL for many years before relocating to the Clermont Area. Here, he found a spiritual home at Liberty Baptist Church of Clermont.

David was a loving and faithful husband to his wife, Vicki, devoted to their daughter Dawn Marie and her husband Michael Wieloszynski as well as three grandchildren, Kyle David, Gina Marie, and Emma Beth (Winter Garden, FL). In 2019, after retiring, David and Vicki relocated to Clermont, FL to be close to family.

He will be missed deeply by those who love and respect him, family and friends alike including: step children Wesley Stone (Grace) of Windermere, FL (Noah, Izzy & Winter) and Camille Stone (Boca Raton, FL), sisters Debbie Thrasher (Cleveland, Georgia) & Donna Czajkowski (Greenacres, FL), many beloved cousins (especially Gary, Lisa & Wayne) together with those related through his 47 year marriage, specifically Dawn & Ken Hreschak of Durham, North Carolina, as well as close friends Chip O'Neal & Paul Winig and Pastor Duane Watt.

A graveside service at Clermont Baptist Church cemetery will be held Friday, September 22 at 10am. (True Life Way, Clermont, FL).  The "Homegoing Celebration" is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 at 10:30am. Liberty Baptist Church of Clermont on True Life Way.
