David Franklin Robison, 62, of Clermont, FL passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at home. Dave was born on November 30, 1956 in Decatur, IL, son of the late Ray and Patricia Robison. He was a '74 graduate of MacArthur High School in Decatur and then attended Arkansas College. Dave worked as an electrician and was a 39-year member of the IBEW Local #146 Union.
Dave spent most of his life in Decatur. He adored his family and was proud of his daughter Keri's tennis and Kendall's running. Dave also enjoyed taking care of his granddaughter Alexis during his retirement in Clermont. His family was everything to him.
Dave had an interest in many things, including tennis, baseball (especially the St. Louis Cardinals), college basketball, the Fighting Illini and especially loved taking care of his dogs and cats.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; children, Keri (Connor) Roth of Chicago, IL and Kendall (Emma) Trump of Decatur, IL; brother, Douglas Robison of Airy, NC and grandchildren, Alexis Trump and Quinn Roth.
A Celebration of David's life will be held at the IBEW #146 Hall (3390 N. Woodford St.) in Decatur, IL on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 1-3 p.m.
