David Wayne Maynard of Clermont, Florida passed away on April 25th after a long and brave fight with ALS.  David was born on December 31, 1965 in Winter Haven, FL.  He graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1984 and received his AA degree from Polk Community College.  Dave worked for Publix Super Markets for 28 years during which time he made many wonderful friends.  Dave began his career as a bagger and worked his way up to store manager, a position that he held for 8 years.

He is survived by his wife, Laura, his children, Nicole and Donovan, his mother, Norma Maynard, his brothers, Billy, Jamie and Jeffrey Maynard, and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, David D. Maynard.



Dave's memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 29th at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Clermont.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Cornerstone Hospice or the ALS Association.
