David Linden Luzier
August 19, 1935 - November 25, 2018
David Linden Luzier, age 83, died peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018 surrounded by his family at Cornerstone Hospice in Clermont, Florida. He was born in Panama City, Florida to Merle and Nora (Knowles) Luzier. Formerly from Tampa/Brandon, Florida, David was currently residing with his wife of 55 years, Helga in Minneola, Florida. Prior to moving to Tampa, David served 21 years in the United States Army and also served in the Vietnam War.
David was preceded in death by his parents Merle & Nora Luzier; siblings: Betty Duncan and Merle Luzier, Jr.; and three sons: Michael Luzier, Eugene Luzier and Daniel Luzier.
David is survived by his wife, Helga Luzier; sister, Edie Townsend; sons: Terry & Wendy Luzier and Stephen & Peggy Luzier; grandchildren, Michael Luzier, Jr., Catherine Luzier, Tiffany Veazey, Nicholas Luzier, Brandyn French, Crisstofer French, Jr. and Conner Luzier; great-grandchildren: Loreal Veazey, Noah Luzier, Blade Luzier, Laney Luzier; and one great-great-grandchild, Evan Marie Richardson.
At David's request there will be no calling hours or services. He will be buried in Florida National Veteran's Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2100 Oakley Seaver Dr., Clermont FL 34711.
