Obituary

David Ian Keeble was born on January 5 1972, in Worcester, England, to parents Maureen and Jack.  He was the 'surprise' baby having two older sisters Linda and Julie and from the moment he entered the world, their lives changed forever.

Dave grew-up in Warndon in Worcester where he had many friends who can still vouch for his tenacity for adventure and rule breaking, even if it got him into trouble!  He left school at 16, eager to start work. His first career was fitting windows, but he quickly discovered he had a talent for building and fixing just about anything!

He married the love of his life, Sharon Ward, on October 10 1998 after they met through their deep love of horses.  Together, they pursued a fast-paced life of travel and living life to the very full with their family and many close friends.

Dave was one of the hardest-working men you could ever meet, and he built his own successful construction company from scratch.  A trip to the Florida Keys set-off a love for America and after their children Emily and Molly were born, they moved to Clermont, where Sharon wrote for a national US magazine.  Here, their third daughter Faith was born, and their family was happily complete.

Years later as they were loving their Florida life, Dave was diagnosed with ALS. He had never been ill a day in his life, so the diagnosis of a terminal illness was a huge shock.  Yet he never gave up. Instead, he fought ALS with everything he had and with family and friends, he made every single moment count even when he was forced into a wheelchair.

Dave's deep love for Sharon and his girls was evident in everything he ever did. He was a true family man who would do anything for the people he loved, whether blood-related or not.

Our darling Dad, Husband, passed away on November 22 2022. He will be missed forever, and his passing will always leave a huge hole in all of our hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughters Emily, Molly and Faith, his sister Linda and brother-in-law Guy, sister Julie and wife Jo, nephews Tom and Sam and niece Sophie.

Goodbye, Dave – you really were one of the best.
