David S. Fitch was born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, and graduated from W. T. Woodson High School in 1995. David played competitive soccer from an early age, and was a member of two Virginia State Champion teams. David was introduced to the game of golf at age 13, and since then, he never put down his clubs.

He received a B.S. in History from Virginia Tech in 2000, and began his golf career at Indian Wells Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, SC. As a golf professional and golf instructor in the Orlando area, Dave played on local and national mini tours, and worked at Stoneybrook West, Grand Cypress, and Orange County National Golf Clubs. In addition to all sports, Dave loved art and music. He played the guitar and was a prolific painter. His greatest accomplishment and legacy are his two sons, James and Fredrick.

David is survived by his sons, as well as his parents, Theresa and Leonard Fitch, and his sister, Linda Hardy Fitch.

A Celebration of Life service in Fairfax Virginia is planned for September 2023. Details will be published at a later date.
