David Joseph Cater (69) left this world on March 29, 2023. He was born in Orlando, Florida on April 12, 1953, where he lived for most of his life. His childhood in Orlando instilled a lifelong passion as a vintage muscle car enthusiast and loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. He also lived for several years in Texas. David (Dave) was a US Navy veteran. He had a big heart, and he will be missed.

David was preceded in death by his daughter, Trena Ann Cater and his parents Ann and Alfred Cater. He leaves behind his daughter Rose Ann Marie Brewer (Ricky), Mount Carmel, TN, stepdaughter Cristy Griffith, Brazoria, TX, brother Alfred Cater, Orlando, FL, sister Anne Gregg (Earl), Montverde, FL, sister Gale (Ron), North Port, FL, niece Kelly Cater, nephews Kevin Cater, Michael Gregg (Tracey) and Jeffrey Gregg, great-nieces Samantha and Jordan Gregg, life-long friend Marie Cater, and many other loving individuals.
