Obituary

Darwin ‘Dar’ Earl Dunham, born August 4, 1938, passed away at home in Minneola, FL on March 6, 2026. Dar graduated from The Art Center School in Los Angeles in 1961. He worked as a graphic artist in Chicago until moving to Tanzania in 1972, where he and his wife, Carolyn, were missionaries for 32 years.

Dar is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn, his sons, Steve and Kent, his dear sister, Faye, four grandchildren (Leslie, Seth, Erica and Naomi) and two great grandchildren (Theodore and Elizabeth).

Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, 10am, at Greenwood Cemetery in Groveland.

A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at the African Inland Mission Retirement Center (in the Frutchey Hall) at 3:00 p.m

Colossians 2: 2-3: I want their hearts to be encouraged and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery—Christ. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him.
