Darrel Claire Eyster, 82, of Clermont, FL, passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly on Friday, December 6, 2024.  The cause of death was Acute Hypoxic Respiratory Failure.

Darrel was born on October 4, 1942 in Detroit, MI to E. Claire Eyster and Mary Angeline Trumppower.  An undergraduate and master's recipient from Western Michigan University, he spent over 30 years as a Systems Analyst at Ford Motor Company.

Darrel married Beverly Jean Holfeltz on October 27, 1973 and recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.  As a frequent traveler of Jamaica, visiting various Sandals Resorts 41 times (South Coast was his favorite!), he celebrated his 82nd birthday on the island he called his second home.

He is survived by his wife Bev, children Todd Eyster, Cassandra Buhl, Brian Eyster, and Darren Eyster, and grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Jordan, and Katelyn Eyster.

A private family viewing was held on Monday, December 9, 2024.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made to Sandals Foundation, American Heart Association, or Leukemia Foundation in honor of his name.

Darrel's sense of humor, carefree spirit, and outgoing personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
