Daniel Jeremy Metz, 28, Groveland, died July 30, 2011. He was born September 17, 1982 in Leesburg son of David Paul Metz & Deborah Swanson and was a lifelong resident. He was a fire proof applicator and a member of First Baptist Church of Groveland. His step-father Kelly Lochrie preceded him in death. Surviving is his mother Deborah Lochrie; children Jonathan & Rianna, brothers Sean & Clint Lochrie all of Groveland & grandmother Bernice Swanson Thomas, Wildwood.



The memorial service for Daniel Metz will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Becker Chapel. Reverend Jim Carnell will officiate. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers to please consider a donation to the family (Deborah Lochrie) for the future education of his son Jonathan.
