Daniel Lester, age 58, of Groveland, Florida passed away suddenly at home with his wife by his side. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa; his children, Jason Lester of Groveland, Florida, Timmy (Ashley) Lester of Gladwin, Michigan, Jeromy (Jenn) Lester of Midland, Michigan and Kim (Brandon) Taflinger of Fithian, Illinois; six grandchildren, Daniel, Dallas, Serenity, Weston, Jordynn and Analesa; three brothers, Frank and Tommy Lester of Flint, Michigan and Mark (Carolyn) Lester of Georgia; one sister, Mary Lester of Flint, Michigan; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Delores; father Frank and brother Rick, all from Michigan.

Daniel was employed with Maschmeyer Concrete in Davenport, Florida. He was a safety officer, trainer and driver for seven years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his beloved dog, Killer. He was always playing hide and seek or anything else the grandkids wanted. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Daniel was a loving husband, father, papa and friend to all, including his many friends at Stewart Lake Preserve.

Due to social distancing restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held for the closest of family and friends.

In the words of Daniel.... "This shit is for the birds"  and he reminds us all to "Be quiet in there".
