Daniel
John Hessburg, age 58, of Groveland, Florida passed away suddenly on June 21, 2016.
He was born to Philip Charles and Elizabeth Haupt Hessburg on October 19, 1957, spending his formative years in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. After serving in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1978, he moved to Orlando to help build Epcot at Walt Disney World. His creativity and talents are evident in the many buildings and projects he created, designed and built.
His work can be seen throughout Florida, especially in the Clermont area, in the many schools, hospitals, shopping centers, subdivisions and homes he built with his inexhaustible energy.
Though very proud of his professional accomplishments, his greatest pride was his family and best memories were times spent with them. He leaves behind his wife, Wendy, his sons Samuel, Philip, Frank (Loren), and Tom, their mother, Sally, stepdaughters Elizabeth and Tessa, and granddaughters Presley and Harlynn. He is also survived by his parents, Philip and Elizabeth, sister Mary Star (Craig), brother Thomas, brother John (T.J.), sister Susan (Tim) and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son, Daniel.
Dan found great comfort in his mantra to always "do the next right thing". He lived a very full and interesting life, cut way too short, and he will be greatly missed.
After his mass, everyone is invited to the Hessburg residence at 17440 Villa City Road, Groveland.
