Dallas O'Neal Holmes, 80, Mascotte, passed away July 19, 2012 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1931 in Minneola, son of Cecil Holmes & Eunice Caylor Holmes and was a lifelong resident. On April 30, 1964 he was united in marriage to Veatrice Ann Ashmore in Bushnell. He served in the US Air Force & the US Coast Gurard and retired from Coca Cola after 21 years where he was a truck driver. Surviving is his wife "Ann" Holmes of the residence; children Pat Russell and Samantha Holmes of Mascotte & Beth Holmes,Lake Wales; grandson Terry Batts; great-grandchildren Kalea De Los Santos & Adrianna Clontz & siblings Eddie Holmes, Mascotte; Butch Holmes, Jacksonville & Geraldine Holmes, Dade City.



The Memorial Service for Dallas Holmes will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in the Becker Chapel. Reverend Brad Phillips will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Mascotte Cemetery.
