Obituary
DeWitt, Dale A., 87, died June 5, 2015, peacefully in Clermont, Florida. Dale was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 17, 1928. He was the son of the late Urive and Luella (Bates) DeWitt. Dale founded DeWitt Excavating Inc., with Marie C. DeWitt in Flint, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1980 along with the business and his family. Dale resided in Clermont, Florida, with his wife Mamie E. Dewitt. He is survived by his wife, Mamie, sons: Thomas A. (Judi), Timothy A. (Marie), daughters: Sherry L. Breier (Bill), Ann L. Severns (Tony), Nancy M. Mulligan (Pat), 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin S., son, Theodore D. (Ted) and step daughter, Lisa.
Arrangements are:
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 950 7th Street, Clermont, FL 34711.
