Family and friends celebrate the life of Cristina born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico December 29, 1987 and returned to heaven on October 08, 2017.

Cristina returned to heaven at the early age of 29, but not before touching all our lives with her beautiful, bright, happy and caring presence.

She will always be remembered for her touching bright smile, incredible eyes, and fun loving personality.

She completed high school and wanted to pursue a nursing career by squeezing college classes when she could into her busy schedule.

When the family moved to Florida in '2006, Cristina's first job was at Disney's Animal Kingdom where she worked for approximately 5 years. Given her Heaven Angel ways, this was her perfect environment to share her beautiful personality with the world.

Cristina was known for her outgoing personality and passion to see the world. She decided to encounter a new life and move to Colorado where she quickly landed a job at the Monarch Casino.

Her love for life and perseverance lead her to be a successful and beautiful young woman with a bright future.

Cristina loved to play video games with her brothers every time they got together, she also loved playing the guitar, but most of she loved to sing. She had a passion for music and Karaoke. When she sang her incredible voice lit up any room in our home.

When you think of Cristina, please remember her for her love for life and her love for those around her. Celebrate her in your memories and live as she did… to the fullest.

Cristina Santana Mendez, a loving daughter, you will be missed more then we can bear. We will be reunited as a family again as soon as our mighty god allows it. In the meantime watch over us, take care of us for you are for now our "Guarding Angel."
