Tharyl (Cooter) Mathis, age 57, of Ferndale, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born on July 9, 1960 in Miami, Fl to Jerry and Willena Mathis. Cooter enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and was a diehard Gator fan. He is survived by his mother Willena Mathis, brother Duane (Wendy) Mathis; sisters, Jerilyn (Steve) Frazier; Kim (Dana) Carlson; nephews, Cody Mathis, Eli Chandler, Justin Mathis, Jeffrey Carlson; nieces, Ravene Whitaker, Linda Mathis, Jade Frazier, Shannon (Jason) Kline, Brittany Carlson; great nephew, Camden Kline.
