December 7, 2018 - April 19, 2023
Connor Rue passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023 after a three month battle with mitochondrial disease. Connor was born on December 7, 2018 to parents Jason and Jessica. Connor was a sweet, caring boy who loved all things superheroes. His favorites were Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, and Catboy. He loved wearing capes and masks and flying around the house webbing anyone who came in his way. Connor also loved to fix things and figure out how they worked. He would always grab his screwdriver or his drill to help around the house. Anything his parents were doing, Connor wanted to help. Whether it was cooking, putting together his sisters crib, painting a room or just watching a movie on the couch, Connor wanted to be there. Connor loved playing t-ball and running around the bases, he loved swimming and playing in the water, but most of all, he loved his family.
Connor is survived by his parents, Jason and Jessica and his sister, Savannah. Connor is also survived by his grandparents, Daniel and Linda Leno and Thomas and Terri Rue, his aunts and uncles, Bradick and Sheena Herring and Daniel and Megan Leno, and his cousins, Bexley, Benji and Julia. Connor is predeceased by his uncle Brady Rue.
A celebration of life and reception will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Clermont FL. Please join our family in remembering his bright and beautiful life. We ask that everyone wear color as this is to celebrate Connor's wonderful life and the joy he brought to all of us.
