IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Colleen Grace
Judy
November 18, 1937 – February 8, 2026
Colleen Grace McCaine Judy
November 18, 1937 - February 8, 2026
Colleen born November 18, 1937, in Clermont, Florida, lived a life full of adventure, love, laughter, and unmistakable sparkle.
A natural athlete from an early age, Colleen played basketball in high school, served as a cheerleader, and was an accomplished water skier. Her love of sports and staying active never faded. As an adult, she played in a softball league, bowled competitively, worked out faithfully, and was known as an amazing dancer who could light up any room.
In 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Jay Judy. Together they shared 70 wonderful years of marriage built on devotion, partnership, and adventure. Soon after marrying, Colleen and Jay began traveling the world through Jay's service in the United States Air Force. Their journey took them across the continental United States and to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Japan, creating a lifetime of memories along the way.
In 1975, they returned home to Clermont to retire, but retirement never slowed Colleen down. She continued traveling with friends and family and was always ready for her next adventure. At 47 years old, she and her best friends set off on a three-week backpacking trip across Europe - a true testament to her fearless and adventurous spirit. She and Jay also loved camping and fishing trips, embracing the outdoors whenever they could.
Colleen was preceded in death by her one true love, Jay, Her parents George (Herman) and Kathryn (Kitty)McCaine, and Son in Law Dan Kyle
She leaves behind an incredible legacy: her four children, Dennise Judy, Michael Judy (Teresa), Lorrie Franklin ( Stephen), Jeriann Smith (Glenn), nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great twin grandsons.
Colleen loved her family fiercely. There was nothing she would not do for them. She delighted in caring for them, spoiling them, and watching them grow. She attended countless dance recitals, ball games, chorus performances, plays, and rowing regattas. She was endlessly proud of each of her children and their families.
Full of life and sparkle - so much sparkle - Colleen will be remembered for her strength, her adventurous spirit, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed every single day, but her light will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind.
