Colleen Nora Goldrick (formerly Morrissey), age 60 of Clermont, Florida, departed this life on Wednesday October 6, 2021. She was born in Staten Island, New York on March 14, 1961 to the late James and Geraldine Morrissey. She is survived by her daughter Katie, son-in-law Mike, grandson Connor, sister Christine, nephew James & wife Rachel, nephew William & wife Timea, grandnephew James and grandniece Saoirse. Colleen was a beautiful soul who loved God, her family and a good cup of coffee. She was a loving mother, a caring sister and a proud Nana to her grandson Connor. Colleen had a great compassion for people. From becoming a Registered Nurse who worked in the Emergency Department in New York on 9/11, to her love of working at New Beginnings Thrift Store, she was sure to offer a smile & a prayer everywhere life took her. She had a passion for journaling her gratitude and was a great writer. In 2006, a personal story written by her was turned into a short film directed by Jennifer Anniston and starring Robin Wright Penn as Colleen. Oprah Winfrey invited Colleen to be on her show to share with the world her inspiring film, "Room 10". Of all her accomplishments, she was most proud of her daughters, Noel and Katie. She is joined in heaven by her daughter Noel whom she loved with all her might. We thank you all that were a part of Colleen's life & for your prayers during this difficult time. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
