Clyde Sampson, age 79, Mascotte, passed away May 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his family and under the care of hospice. He was born April 9, 1939 in Gunterville, AL son of Luther Sampson & Alice Walden Sampson & was a central Florida resident since 1959. On July 9, 1960 he was united in marriage to Betty Jean Brown. He was a truck driver and member of First Missionary Baptist Church Mascotte. His children Michael Sampson & Cheryl Holbrook preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife Betty; children Gene (Colleen) Sampson, Mascotte; Larry (Cindy) Sampson, Woodstock, AL & Tammy Lindsey, Minneola; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren & brothers Leman Sampson, Griffin, GA & Delaney Sampson, Albertville, AL.
