Cleone R. Stetler, age 87, of Clermont, Florida, formerly of York, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the Mike Conley Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Elvan H. Stetler. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage. Born May 17, 1927 in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of the late Harry and E. Romaine {Roeder} Coyle, she worked with her husband at their family owned business, Stetler Insurance Agency. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in York, attended First United Methodist Church in Clermont, and was president of the Insurance Women of York. Mrs. Stetler is survived by a daughter, Cathy L. Plyler, and her husband David, of Clermont; a son, William E. Stetler, and his wife Diane, of Dallastown; and a grandson, Jonathan D. Plyler. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Coyle and a sister, Sandra Smith. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, Inc., 849 East Market Street, York. Visitation was from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was at Mount Rose Cemetery.
