Christopher Charles Kurtz,  44, passed away on June 7, 2011, due to complications from Spina Bifida.  Christopher was born on March 4, 1967 in Egg Harbor City, NJ, the son of Charles and Sandra Kurtz. He was a resident of Central Florida for the past 26 years, working for 13 years at the Old Key West Resort at Walt Disney World.  Christopher was very involved in the Special Olympics, bowling and also the Tournament of Champions wheelchair races. Chris was involved in wheelchair basketball and was a  Champion Dominos player. Christopher is survived by his parents, Charles and Sandra Kurtz of Winter Garden, FL; maternal grandfather, Frank Senn of Lake Wales, FL; sister, Valorie and husband Lee  Wochner of Burbank, CA and their children, Lex, Emma, and Dietrich; Uncles, Roy Kurtz and Ronald Senn (Betty) all of Egg Harbor City, NJ, Aunt Barbara Mangos of Westchester, PA, Uncle Christopher Senn, Cousin Scott Senn and other cousins. .



A Celebration of Christopher's life will be held at 10:30 AM on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the Vista Del Lago Clubhouse. Donations may be made to the Special Olympics  1915 Don Wickham Drive, Clermont, Fl.  34711-1915. A second Celebration will be held in Egg Harbor City  on June 25th at 2 PM at the Moravian Church.
