It is with a sad heart to report the passing of Chester G. Lapin of Clermont Florida on April 28,2026. Chet was born on March 6,1946 to the late Thomas and Florence Lapin. A graduate of Bunnell High School in Stratford Connecticut, he retired as a hair stylist from the Richard Penna Salon in Hamden CT. 

He is survived by his brothers, Thomas Lapin, Richard (Janet) Lapin, and several nieces and nephews, especially Bill (Chantal) Lapin. He is also survived by his care team and Florida Family, David Rodriguez, Rich & Katie Piekarski, Jenn & Bob Seroski, Jessica & Stash Ziomek, many special friends and his beloved cocker spaniel, Bella. 

Besides his parents, Chet was predeceased by his brothers Barry and David. Chet will be remembered for the being the best cook, baker and entertainer, his friendship, his love of Cocker Spaniels, his sense of humor and mostly, his kindness.
