Cheryl "Shay" Lea White passed away on January 2nd, surrounded by love.

Shay was a devoted mother who would probably tell you that her children were the best things she ever made, though some would probably argue that it was her brisket in 2012.

She was a woman who could, and would, talk to anyone. Though she only had three biological children, she had many  kids  she loved and cared for over the years. She was always trying to help and had the kindest heart. She was proud of her volunteering, and was involved in many causes that meant a great deal to her, especially those involving pet care and rescue. Many would say her baking was a standout accomplishment, having studied culinary arts and receiving accolades in many competitions.

If you had the privilege of knowing Shay, you would know she loved music and food and was always ready to go to a concert or cook you a homemade meal.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Hansley; sister, Wendy; son, Jason McComb (and partner Brandon); daughter, Jessica McComb (and husband Bobby); daughter, Megan Kline (and partner James); granddaughter, Luna; aunt and nephews.
