Cheryl Heist of Groveland, Florida – wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many - passed to her heavenly Father on August 16, 2021.  Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, mother and father, sister and brother, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A loving wife and mother, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband Alan Heist.

Born in Washington, D.C., Cheryl's formative years were largely spent in Northern Virginia.  Following graduation from high school and college, she eventually found her passion; nursing.  After graduation from nursing school, she never wavered and spent over twenty years as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Cheryl married Alan in July of 2002. They shared two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Ryleigh, and settled in Groveland, Florida, where they were members of The First United Methodist Church of Clermont. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, and browsing antique stores with her children.Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her beloved daughters, family and friends.

Services will be held at Clermont Masonic Lodge, September 4, 2021 at 11AM.
