Cherie Michele Dean Stewart, age 47 of Clermont, Florida recently passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022. She was born in Hollywood, Florida on July 23, 1974 and was the daughter of Anthony J Dean, Jr and Gail Hollis Dean. She was married to her husband Robert Alan Stewart for 18 years.

Cherie survived by her three children Jason Richard (Haley) Freeman and their daughter Oakleigh in Ocala, Florida; Tucker Dean (Kaileah) Freeman in St. Johns, Florida; and one daughter McKenzie Stewart and her daughter RaeLynn in Eustis.

Cherie is also survived by her two brothers Anthony (Tina) in Pinellas Park, Florida and Richard Dean of Clermont, Florida and his children Dylan, Riley and Lexi.

She had worked in the Food Service Industry for almost 30 years including the Family Catering Business and after she attended and graduated from the Lake Technical College with a certificate in Professional Culinary Arts and Hospitality. She continued her Food Service Career with Walt Disney World and most recently 17 years with the Lake County School Board which she just recently retired from on July 19, 2022.

She most enjoyed her Monday cooking days with her daughter McKenzie and three nieces Dylan, Riley and Lexi.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July, 23, 2022, from 2pm until 4pm at Becker Funeral Home.
