Obituary

Charles Allen Wieben (Chuck) was called to Heaven on March 10 2022 after a long battle of fighting Kidney Cancer. Chuck was born on July 16, 1955 to the late Harold and Patricia Wieben, of Waterloo Iowa. He was residing in Clermont Florida at the time of passing, and is survived by his son Joseph Wieben, as well as his son Daniel Wieben and his wife Abigail; step daughter Toni Rustan and step son Edward Rustan, along with an assortment of grandchildren; his brother Jim Wieben, sister Barb Wieben, and other sister Deb Wieben.

Chuck had a great love for his Iowa State Cyclones and Green Bay Packers, which would often capture his attention on most Sundays of the season. He was also an avid golf player. At the end of a busy day he would relax with a small glass of some Southern Comfort, which was by far his favorite drink. It even managed to make its way into his signature secret barbeque sauce recipe, which has yet to be divulged, and won several contest trophies.

When he wasn't enjoying his days off, Chuck spent much of his time in Sales and Timeshare. He had a gift for understanding what people wanted, which, coupled with his extroverted friendly charisma landed him in high regards with his employers. He was very outgoing, making friends of strangers everywhere he went, and was very loved.

There are many things to admire about Chuck. He was an amazing Father. He was empathetic towards everyone he met. He gave love so freely, expecting nothing in return. But one of the things that stood out the most was his authenticity. No one could tell him who he was. He stood strong and tall in his truth no matter what he was going through. He was also kind, loving, and had an unbridled sense of humor even amidst the hardest battle of his life. His favorite quote was "If I don't laugh about it I'd cry about it," which pretty much spelled his attitude towards most things.

Charles Allen Wieben will be remembered and loved by many.
