Obituary
Charles James Nix, 91, of Montverde, FL passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Charles was born on June 4, 1926 in Atlanta, GA. He was a resident of Florida since 1966, moving to South Lake in 1987. He was a mechanic working on forklift trucks. Charles also was very proud of being a licensed pilot, ham radio operator and loved riding his motorcycle well into his 80's. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ruby; children, Sandra Feill of Orlando, FL, Chuck Nix of Montverde, FL and Robert nix of Winter Park, FL; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
