Charles "Charlie" R. Kurtz, 85, of Winter Garden, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 24, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.

Charlie was born on September 17, 1936 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Charles G. and Marie Kurtz.

After serving in the United States Army, he was co-owner of George Senn Plumbing Company in Egg Harbor, New Jersey.  He was also a member of the Egg Harbor Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as treasurer.  He resided in New Jersey until retirement.

After relocating to Central Florida, he started two businesses and enjoyed many years as a Walt Disney World Cast Member.  Along with his wife and son, they enjoyed working in Merchandising at Disney's Old Key West Resort. They made many great friends along the way.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roy Kurtz and son Christopher Kurtz.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Kurtz, daughter Valorie Kurtz and three grandchildren Lexington, Emma, and Dietrich Wochner.
