Charles Peter Dubuque,78, of Clermont, FL passed away October 29,2013. He was born June 8,1935 in Providence, RI, son of Bertha Frechette and Joseph Dubuque. After serving in the U.S. Army, he was united in marriage to Constance Dianne Dufresne to whom he was happily married for 54 years. He pursued a career in the insurance industry while residing in California and Connecticut. He served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in Newington, CT. He was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers. Survivors include his wife, daughter Christine Lawton of Farmington, CT, sons Paul Dubuque of Londonderry, NH, Stephen Dubuque of Wendell, NC. and oldest brother J. Arthur Dubuque of Cape Coral, FL and 6 grandchildren: Kimberly and Zachary Lawton, Jeffrey Dubuque and Nicholas, Amanda and Joshua Dubuque.



A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, Clermont, FL. Inurnment will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in his name to the charity of your choice
