Charlene Haines Fullard, age 66, of Clermont Florida passed away on January 9th, 2018 in the presence of her four beloved children. She was born on April 1st, 1951, the second of three daughters to Charles and Oreta Haines of Clermont, FL.
She was a 1969 graduate of Clermont High where she was the captain of her cheerleading squad. She attended South Georgia College and obtained her Associates of Science Degree in 1971. She would often say that she was going to college to major in finding a husband, to which she did. In 1969 she met her children's father, Rick Fullard. Together they had four children. She was a loyal, dependable, and noble wife and mother, and spent most of her life as a stay at home mom. She took pride in spending most of her days caring for her family's home while carting her children to their various extracurricular activities.
In 2002, she moved back to her hometown of Clermont from Bardstown, KY and became a devoted employee of Greenlee, Kurras, Rice and Brown where she spent the past seventeen years as their Administrative
Assistant.
Charlene was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and painting and dreamed of one day traveling to various places in the US with her granddaughter, Madison. She had a creative mind and a true gift for writing. She enjoyed poetry, ceramics, and music of many kinds. She was happiest when shopping and when she was with her family.
Charlene's family praises her most of all as being the most devoted mother and loyal friend.
She is predeceased by her father Charles Haines Jr., mother Oreta Brinson Haines, and brother Charles Haines, III. She is survived in death by her four children. Son, Charles Ryan (Tracy) Fullard of Radcliff, KY, daughter Rachael Lauren (Brant) Berry of Lexington, KY, daughter Jessica Reagan (Michael) Leake of Loretto, KY, and daughter Raina Joy Fullard of Lexington, KY; ex-husband, Rick Fullard of Lexington, KY; two sisters Dottie (Randy) Whitman and Sharon (Scott) Oughterson of Eustis, FL; her eight grandchildren Brooke (Spencer) Holloway, Madison Skye Pippin, Jonathan Paul Miller Jr., Carter Damian Leake, Xavier Tracin Bowman-Fullard, Harrison Michael Leake, Brinson Ace Berry, and Charley-Lynn Ellen Fullard. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charlene took pride in the importance of organ donation and was able to save the life of one with liver donation and give sight to two through the donation of her corneas. Her legacy will live on through organ donation, her four children, eight grandchildren, as well as the multiple lives she touched along the way.
