Cecil Austin Judy, age 81, of Clermont, FL, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2014. He was born in Clermont, FL on April 9, 1932 to Austin and Rosa Judy. He married Wyona Drawdy on June 25, 1949. He was a lifetime logger and sawmill owner. Cecil is survived by his wife Wyona; five children: Janice Judy Cook; Annette Judy; Dennis Judy and wife Beth; Cindy Judy Boone and husband Ricky & Randy Judy and wife Vivian; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Larry Judy. He was preceded by his father, mother & three sisters, Geneva, Hazel & Patricia. Cecil was a native Floridian that loved hunting & fishing. He loved the Lord and taught his family to appreciate music, learning to play instruments and sing gospel songs. He was the cornerstone of the Judy Family Band, a bluegrass gospel group consisting of his family dedicated to spreading the gospel through music. He leaves behind his legacy of family and friends that will cherish his memory forever. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many. The memorial service for Cecil Judy will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Church of God of Phrophecy in Mascotte. Brother Tommy Witten will officiate.
