Catherine Congetta Walsh, age 98, of Groveland, FL passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. Catherine was born December 7, 1920 in Nocera,, Italy. At 5 months of age she came to the U.S. with her parents Vincenzo and Maria Badolato. She grew up in Summit, New Jersey & graduated from Summit High School. She worked for Bell telephone. She also worked as a seamstress, a school cafeteria aide and at Kings Supermarket in the bakery. She was a long time resident of Chatham, New Jersey before moving to Groveland in 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John L. Walsh in 1987 and her brothers Ralph and Gil Badolato. She is survived by her sister, Ida Sinagra of Edison, NJ, her sons John L. (wife Marcia) of Groveland, FL & Ken G.(wife Sheri) of Hopkinton, NH, granddaughters Kristin Walsh of Keene, NH and Erin Walsh and great-granddaughter Sophia Gordon of Manchester, NH and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
