Catherine Mary Maud Klum, affectionately known as "Kitty", age 84 of Clermont, passed away March 21, 2011 at South Lake Hospital. She was born September 5, 1926 in Belize City, Belize daughter of Herbert & Maud Lind. On December 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Frank Joseph Klum in Guatemala City, Guatemala  and was a Florida resident since 1960 from Albuquerque, NM. She worked for a number of years for Orange County Public Schools. A former member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church & the Ladies Guild in Orlando, she currently was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont. She was preceded in death by her children Gerald L. Klum, Linda Marie Kiselich & Robert Michael Klum and by 5 siblings. Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Frank Joseph Klum; children Catherine (Randy) Lund, Winter Garden & Frank "Butch" Klum, Jr., Clermont; grandchildren Michael Shannon, Christine Palma, Damon (Jaime) Timmins, Robert (Amber) Klum, Lene (Clinton) Magnuson, Danielle Klum, Jonelle & Brittany Kiselich, Justin (Mallory) Klum, and Brandi Lund; great-grandchildren Ashley Palma, Aiyanna Timmins, Brynna & Rylee Shannon, Kiersten, Kyleigh & Braxton Klum, and Owen Magnuson & siblings Jenny (William) Ryan, Green Valley, AZ; Lillian Meadows, Ocala; Linda Bowman, Belize City; Juanita (Kenneth) Gibbs, Slidell, LA & Thomas Phillip (Juanita) Lind, Brandon, FL.



Visitation will be from 6-8 on Thursday, March 24 at BECKER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 806 W. Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711  352-394-7121. The mass for Kitty Klum will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2011 at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 720 12th Street, Clermont, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, next to her son Gerald. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in her name to the Russell Home for Atypical Children, 510 Holden Ave., Orlando, FL 32839 in memory of her son Gerald.
