Carolyn Ann Doran, age 80, went to be with Jesus on Friday, January 6, 2023 surrounded by family. Carolyn was born on January 20,1942 in Kingsport TN. Carolyn married her most cherished friend, and childhood sweetheart, Bill Doran December 22, 1957. They just celebrated 65 years of marriage and a beautiful life together. Carolyn loved her family. She loved watching Nascar with Bill. She enjoyed sewing, she was very talented, and made many meaningful gifts for her family and friends. She was very proud when people entered their home admiring all the many beautiful things she had made. Her favorite activity was caring for her dog Hachi.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Richard Orton, Hazel Jones Orton, and her brother James R Orton.

Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Bill; her children David, and LaDonna, her grandchildren Natalie, Whitney, and Kayla; her great grandchildren Gavin, Deacon, Tate, Tiara, Taliya; brother Jack Orton; And her loving dog Hachi. She will also be dearly missed by many friends.

When Carolyn entered the gates of Heaven her family was there to welcome her into her Heavenly home. Carolyn received a warm hug from our Lord and Savior.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand. Isaiah 41:10

A public viewing and visitation/ prayer service will be held for family and friends on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W Minneola Ave Clermont, FL. 34711

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha FL.
