Holt, Caroline (Bryant), of Groveland, Florida formally of Bloomfield Ct. and Bridgeport Ct. passed away peacefully at home on January 25th 2015 with her family by her side. She lived a long and full life of 100 years and six months to the delight and awe of her family and friends. She was born on June 25th 1914 in Havana, Florida, the eldest child of Lee Bryant and Lantie (Willis) Bryant. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Monroe Holt, her daughter Elizabeth Kelley, her son Roosevelt Holt, three grandchildren, one sister and two brothers. Caroline is survived by her sister Beatrice Craddock of Georgia, her daughter Naimah (Holt) Hasan her son Joseph (Jo) Holt, ten grand children, sixteen great-grand children and twelve great-great grand children as well as a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws. After retiring from Royal Typewriter in 1971 Mom or Big Momma' greatest joy was cooking and caring for her family. She will be fondly remembered by all as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. .



A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Becker Funeral Home of Clermont, Florida who was entrusted with the final arrangements
