Carole Paulson, age 80, former Ft. Pierce & current Clermont resident passed away November 19, 2013 at home with family at her side & under the care of hospice. She was born April 11, 1933 in Bronx, NY the only child of Helen Dempsey & Ferdinand Goldbach. She was an executive secretary, first in New York City and then at Maria Regina High School in Uniondale, N.Y. On November 10, 1983 she was united in marriage to Howard John Paulson, a retired Detective with the NYC Police Department, in Farmingdale, NY. A local resident since January of this year, she was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband Howard; children Stephen Biegner, Brooklyn, NY; Elaine (Andrew) Schneider, Clermont & Daniel (Joanne) Paulson, Charlotte, NC & grandchildren Kyle & Kasey Paulson. Mass of the Resurrection for Carole Paulson will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cornerstone Hospice.
